How to design for politics and activism? How to design for action?
What is the role of a designer today?
This project takes its starting point 30 km north of Copenhagen, where children and families are trapped in a political limbo, living in poor conditions; Rejected by the state of Denmark, and not willing to go back home.
With this project, we wanted to make the Danish population stand up against the dehumanization of rejected asylum seekers living in Denmark - Showing solidarity for the families in the centers.
The project unfolded in a visual identity for an opensource based platform, for people to keep updated, and get content to share their disagreement, on social media and in the cities.
The project was followed up by a publication in the shape of a newspaper, discussing our process and the role of a designer in a political and activistic context.
